Tweet from Leaf and Core showing the #AppleEvent hashtag is followed by a small Apple logo Apple’s all set up for next week’s Apple event, including the clever hashtag… #AppleEvent! Twitter often runs special hashtags that add an emoji or logo to tweets that contain the hashtag. This is done either because Twitter felt like highlighting a hashtag, or for a promotional event. The #AppleEvent hashtag went live today, so clearly Apple’s trying to do a little more promotion for their event this year.

Are you excited? Apple clearly is.

Next Tuesday, Apple will take to the stage and give us a virtual walk through of the new iPhone 12, new Apple Watch Series 6, and potentially updates to the Apple TV as well as the iPad Air. We could also finally see the AirTags Apple’s been working on, their location tracking tags for things like keys and remotes. Finally, there’s the possibility that Apple will release some version of AirPower, their wireless charging mat for multiple Apple devices.

Tune in next week! Apple will likely feature their event on their website, as well as other sites like YouTube.
