A previous rumor stated that the iPad mini would finally get an update. Apple updated many outdated products in their lineup. For example, Apple updated the aging Mac Mini and MacBook Air. The iPad mini was, sadly, neglected. However, a new leak from Slashleaks shows a case that’s destined for the iPad mini. Has Apple decided not to abandon their tiniest tablet?
What This Leak Tells Us

If this leak is accurate, it appears as though the iPad mini will have a few notable upgrades. The camera hole is larger, possibly to fit a flash for the camera. There’s a place for a headphone jack, differentiating the device from the current iPad Pro. There also appears to be a cutout on the side. This will likely be fore a sim card tray, for an iPad mini that has cell service.
The iPad mini will likely retail around the $300 price point. That would place it below the base model iPad. It’ll be the perfect tablet for someone who wants something they can comfortably hold with one hand, likely for reading and light internet use.
