Apple Australia released a new commercial for the iPhone X entitled “First Dance.” It’s part of Apple’s ongoing “Shot on an iPhone” ad campaign. In it, couples celebrate their nuptials in videos that were, as you’d expect, “Shot on an iPhone X.”
Australia only just legalized same-sex marriage, bringing an end to hundreds of years of discrimination in the country. These ads will only air in Australia, but through the magic of something called “YouTube,” we can enjoy them almost anywhere in the world too. Cool, huh?
Thanks for being inclusive, Apple, it’s great to see equal treatment for LGBTQ couples, even in ads. Oh, and congrats on marriage equality, Australia!
