The concept is so painfully simple that Apple would be stupid to not make it.

Apple has created battery cases for multiple versions of the iPhone. These cases are typically bulky, as they have to protect both your iPhone and the battery. They connected via Lightning, which means they added considerable space to the bottom of the iPhone as well. But a MagSafe battery? You can simply attach that to the back of your iPhone and it would begin charging.
This would allow iPhone owners to keep their devices case-free, or with a minimalist case, then slap power on when needed. A person could even keep a battery pack in the office, around the house, or carry it with them in a bag or pocket. A small battery pack, one that adds only a few hours, would still be enough to greatly increase the battery life of the iPhone, useful in a pinch.
Apple hasn’t revealed battery cases for the iPhone 12 series yet. Usually, they wait some time after the release of a device to announce products like these. However, third party manufacturers are going to want to create MagSafe accessories. I hope they’ll consider slapping a battery to a Qi charger with some magnets, because this concept looks incredible.
