Are you sure you want to cancel Apple News+ popup

Did you sign up for Apple News+ on the day it was released? That was a month ago tomorrow. Have you been using and enjoying the service? Then continue doing so! However, if you found the format problematic, the content poorly curated, subscribing and following magazines difficult, or didn’t like the fact that it had few more recent news articles, then you’re likely not alone. Apple News+ hasn’t been popular.

I had actually planned to do a full 30 day review of Apple News+, but stopped forcing myself to use it and unsubscribed a few weeks ago. More on that in a review to come.

If you’re also unhappy, today’s the day to unsubscribe. Here’s how to do that.

How to Unsubscribe From Apple News+

Not everyone is happy with Apple News+. If you’re one of those unhappy with the service, here’s how to make sure Apple won’t charge you tomorrow.

  1. First, open the App Store. You’ll notice a profile icon or your profile photo in the top right corner. Tap it.
  2. Next, Tap “Manage Subscriptions.”
  3. After the next window loads, tap the subscription you want to cancel.
  4. Tap “Cancel Subscription.”
  5. Confirm your cancellation, and you’re set!

Apple News+ has been a bit of a flop. A lousy interface and poor content curation left users wanting much more. For $9.99/month, it’s just not worth it for many people.
