I have a favorite Apple Watch band. It’s not even a competition. My favorite Apple Watch band is my black leather with gold studs watch band from Bezels & Bytes. I mentioned this band in a few posts, including my review of the Apple Watch Series 4. It’s fantastic. Elegant but tough. Pretty yet brutal. It’s exactly my style and I was so happy to have it. One part of it has started to fall apart, but that’s okay. I can just buy a new one, right?
Wrong.
I got an email today. A few links on Leaf and Core were showing a 404. I checked the links, thinking they may be related to an outage. It wasn’t an outage though. The links were for my watch band. I went to Bezel & Bytes’ page where I found the below message.
Dear Customers,
We launched Bezels & Bytes in January 2015 with the idea that technology we love could be both functional and stylish. From day one, we were driven by your requests, encouragement, and excitement. Thank you for being with us on the journey! We have made the difficult decision that it is time for us to move on from Bezels & Bytes.
If you have any questions, please email us at customercare@bezelsandbytes.com.
Thanks again for your support these past few years. We’ve had a blast designing for you!
xo Fashionably Yours,
Sarah & Melissa
What a shame! Sarah & Melissa, best of luck to you! I’m not sure women will ever find a source of accessories for our tech products half as good as those designed by your shop. Thanks for everything!
… Also, if you happen to have any spare watch bands laying around, hit me up.
