Guilherme Rambo is making a name for himself. The developer and 9to5Mac writer has, on more than one occasion, leaked Apple’s planned products. He does this by digging through the iOS betas and finding icons, strings, and other identifiers for new hardware. In this case, he found an icon of the new iPad, and it’s surprisingly detailed. This is the new iPad. Rounded corners, slim bezels, and no home button.
Of course, this doesn’t tell us the whole story. We don’t know about it’s revamped Smart Connector, whether or not it has Lightning or USB-C support. We don’t know if it’ll work with a new Apple Pencil.
Apple still has a few surprises in order for us on Tuesday. Be sure to tune on on the 30th at 10am eastern to find out everything Apple has been working on.
